PVC is generally degraded during processing, producing several undesirable effects. In this work, mixtures of calcium and/or zinc stearates and epoxidized soybean oil are used as stabilizers. In addition, to improve overall stability, D-sorbitol or triphenyl phosphite were added as costabilizers.
